The PlasmaLift is a low-powered aesthetic device that is used for various kinds of skin treatments and helps with the removal of scars and stretch marks as well, giving you a wide range of treatment options and an entirely new revenue stream.
PlasmaLift is especially effective in ‘lifting’ droopy upper eyelids - and is a real and effective option you can offer your clients in place of undergoing surgical blepheroplasty.
Crows Feet is another area PlasmaLift can target, helping to greataly diminish fine lines and wrinkles.
Smokers lines can be greatly reduced with the PlasmaLift, along with marionette lines and nasolabial folds.
The next generation in anti-ageing soft-surgery
Plasma therapy is the aesthetic industry's newest and most advanced non surgical, skin lifting and tightening treatment.
It is used with great results for wrinkle smoothing, eyelid tightening, eyelid hood reduction, smoker’s lines, marionette lines, crow’s feet, frown lines, ear lobe tightening and more, resulting in a more youthful appearance.
PlasmaLift is "new a generation of cosmetic uplifting" - a results oriented and exciting new alternative to undergoing the knife.
Plasmalift is non-invasive and works to literally shrink excess skin and completely diminish wrinkles and lines.
PlasmaLift (also known as fribroblast treatments) stimulates an immediate contraction and tightening of the skin fibres in the comfort of your clinici or salon - and your will be providing your clients/patients with a real alternative to undergoing the knife.
PlasmaLift is a far more affordable solution for your clients/patients who would otherwise be looking at investing over $10,000 for similar surgical results.
There is no general anaesthetic required, no scalpels or cutting of the skin, no stitching, no scarring and only minimal recovery time with Plasmalift.
HOW DOES PLASMALIFT WORK?
This innovative technology utilises plasma - formed through ionisation of atmospheric gasses - to stimulate instant contraction and tightening of skin fibres.
This technology does not use a scalpel or laser to remove excess skin, thereby avoiding all risks inherent to the traditional intervention.
The treatment is performed through minute spots made with a pen type device at a certain distance one from the other to stimulate instant contraction and tightening of skin fibres.
Results can be seen immediately but continue to improve over a 6-8 week period and can last up to around 3 years with many results permanent. This is done all without the use for needles, scalpels, anaesthetic or costly surgery.
The treatment consists of many plasma arc dots spaced closely together and most areas of the face and body can be treated. The procedure normally takes 30 – 60 minutes to perform. Results are seen instantly although the best appearance is seen after 6-8 weeks. The treatment is performed without causing bleeding and more importantly without causing any damage to the surrounding tissue.
1 – 3 treatments at 6-8 weekly intervals are recommended to give the results similar to a surgical procedure. Results can be cumulative and in some instances 2 or 3 treatments may be required to delivery optimal results.
What is Plasma? Plasma was discovered by Sir William Crookes in 1879 an English physicist. It is a form of matter. It is also known as the 4thstate, in addition to liquid, gas and solids.
Plasma pens convert electrical energy into an electrostatic energy which is then transmitted to the probe. At about 1mm from the skin, oxygen and nitrogen are mixed and the electrostatic energy produces an arc of plasma which is discharged on the surface of the skin (epidermis). This principle involves the ionization of gases from the air to create a micro electrical discharge causing sublimation (directly turns a solid substance into a gas). The excess skin is sublimated.
This creates an immediate contraction of the skin tissue on the surface and also creates thermal disruption in the dermis. The probe never touches the skin. By targeting fibroblasts in the dermis, we stimulate collagen and elastin. This controlled trauma creates an inflammatory response. The arc creates tiny carbon crusts which look like freckles and fall off around days 4-7 leaving tightened, fresh and rejuvenated skin

Plasma Lift is the next generation technology for skin tightening and stimulating collagen production. It enables the skin to produce a significant amount of collagen tightening and production, especially in those areas where previously we were not able to offer effective non-surgical treatment.
This effect is achieved with a “spark” which generates heat, warming the skin and thus achieving the desired effect. Plasma Lift is a soft surgical device that can only be operated by trained health professionals*.
*Nurses, Doctors, Dermal Therapists and Beauty Therapists with minimum 5 years experience
How is the PlasmaLift treatment undertaken?
A topical anaesthetic cream is applied to the desired treatment area.
The spark of the PlasmaLift causes an effect in the skin, leading to collagen induction/production and the subsequent tighening/lifting/rejuvenating effect. As a result of the electric voltage, a cascade of physiological processes occur which result in the cell membranes tightening.When the majority of cells in the treatment area tighten up, it is then visible to the naked eye.
This treatment does not involve any surgery, needles, burning or removal of skin or tissue. PlasmaLift is especially good when utilised on small areas of heavily lined skin such as upper and lower eye, ‘smoker’s’ lines over the mouth and the area around the belly button (for example).
The PlasmaLift Treatment is performed with a PlasmaLift Pen. The Pen itself never touches the skin. The Plasma flash from the pen creates a tiny dot upon the contact. This innovative technology uses sublimation process, turning solid directly to gas to tighten skin tissue. Targeted tissue sublimate, causing no damage to surrounding areas or deeper skin layers.
Are there any side effects from PlasmaLift?
Treatments can cause an instant effect on your clients and may include redness and swelling of the area treated for up to 2-3 days. Side effects vary from client to client. The healing process will include crusting (which should be left to fall away naturally) over the course of about a week.
Treatments can sometimes lead to more prolonged redness and swelling, while the skin recovers, this is more likely when the eye lids or areas close to the eye are treated. It can take up to 7 to 10 days to fully recover for some individuals.
Makeup can be applied as cover where needed but should not be applied for 24hrs after the treatment. The results are instant and improve over the next 2-4 weeks.
How painful is a PlasmaLift Treatment?
The pain during a PlasmaLift treatment should be minimised with the use of a local anaesthetic cream. The healing process can cause some mild discomfort but over-the-counter pain relief can be taken to help.
What are the benefits of PlasmaLift?
There are many areas PlasmaLift can be of benefit to. The skin tightening effect and improvement of texture are the biggest benefits. PlasmaLift offers your clients a soft surgical option for blephoraplasty, smokers lines reduction, marionette lines and nasolabial folds reduction.
Minimal down time;
Little to no down time;
Little to no discomfort;
No open wounds;
None of the risks associated with surgery.
How many sessions are required?
Each client will respond differently to PlasmalLift, but generally one to three sessions are needed. Most people will respond effectively after one session and will be able to see the effect immediately. Clients can expect a continued improvement in their results over time as their body responds to the treatment and builds more collagen along with improving elastin prooduction.
How long does a PlasmaLift treatment take?
PlasmaLift is a fast and effective treatment and should take just 1 hour from beginning to end, including topical anaesthetic, preparation and the treatment itself.
